Doubtfully, she accuses him of lying. Ajeet responds by suggesting that his mother should live in a separate house, and he abruptly ends the call. Ketki, his partner, confronts him, expressing her suspicion that he is involved in an affair.
Confused, Ajeet questions how she could suspect him when she knows him so well. Ketki confesses that she never expected him to have a conversation with his mother. Ajeet defends his actions, explaining that his mother loves him immensely, albeit expressing it in a different way.
Ketki suggests that Ajeet can stay with his mother if he wants to. In response, he clarifies that he is staying with Ketki's family because of his commitment to them. He explains that his mother is currently residing at his maternal uncle's place, and he cannot bring his wife to that household.
Ajeet further emphasizes that he holds several responsibilities towards the Trivedi family. Ketki counters by assuring him that he is staying with them because he is an integral part of their family. Confused by her earlier suspicions, Ajeet questions why she doubted him if she truly loves him. Realizing her mistake, Ketki apologizes to Ajeet and embraces him in a heartfelt hug.
Tulsi advises Radha to have a conversation with Mohan regarding their relationship. Radha remembers how Namrata had urged her to confront Mohan. Lost in her thoughts, Radha turns around and is startled to find Mohan standing there, unexpectedly.

Mohan senses the unspoken question in Radha's eyes and gently takes her hand, leading her to their room. Radha's expression reveals her concern, but she follows Mohan silently until he comes to a halt in the center of their room.
Feeling anxious, Radha requests him to provide an answer if he has heard everything. In that moment, Mohan draws nearer to Radha and suggests that they should leave the past behind and concentrate on the present.
Both Mohan and Radha are taken aback, while Shekhar appears embarrassed to stumble upon them in such proximity. Mohan playfully taunts Shekhar for choosing that particular moment to interrupt them.
Meanwhile, Shekhar hands over some papers to Mohan, explaining that he has brought the divorce papers as requested. Radha and Mohan are both taken aback and shocked by the revelation.
Mohan questions Shekhar about who instructed him to bring the divorce papers in the first place. In response, Shekhar shows Mohan a message on his phone, claiming that Mohan himself had sent the message.
Mohan denies sending any such message, expressing his confusion. Eventually, Kadambari intervenes and convinces Damini to confess the truth. Damini admits that she was the one who sent the message and requested the divorce papers.
