In today's post, you have been told about the upcoming episode of Meet 18th July 2023 Written Update. The episode begins with the arrangement of Sumeet's "muh dikhai," a traditional ceremony where the bride's face is revealed to the groom's family. Poonam assures Shagun that Sumeet will accompany her to her house after the ceremony. Vani wonders where Sumeet is, and Pankhuri informs her that Sumeet is getting ready in her room.
Meanwhile, Bitti intervenes and prevents Sumeet from applying sindoor, a red vermillion powder worn by married women, stating that only she has the right to do so. In a fit of anger, Bitti reaches for a pair of scissors to cut the veil that Sumeet has placed on the bed.
Sumeet attempts to grab the veil back, but in the struggle, Bitti accidentally injures her own hand with the scissors. Concerned about the incident, Bitti takes her injured hand to Poonam and suggests that they use the blood on the scissors to determine if Sumeet is pregnant or not.
Vani quickly administers first aid to Sumeet to tend to her injured hand. In the midst of the commotion, Sumeet questions Vani if she believes that Sumeet is actually married to Shlok. However, Vani firmly believes that Sumeet should accept that she is married to Raunak instead.
As the ritual continues, Vani takes charge and requests Raunak to remove Sumeet's veil and complete the ceremony. However, Sumeet intervenes and halts Raunak, expressing her desire for her husband to be the one to perform the ritual. Determined, she goes behind Shlok, attempting to prevent him from participating.
Unfortunately, Shlok refuses Sumeet's request to take part in the ritual, adding to the tension. The episode concludes with Sumeet making a vow that she will not remove her veil until Shlok himself agrees to do so, further escalating the suspense and anticipation.

Feeling a sense of urgency, Sumeet reenters the room and resolves to safeguard herself from Raunak's advances. Determined to maintain her distance, she strategically places sharp nails on her veil, ensuring that Raunak cannot easily uncover her face. However, despite her efforts, once all the guests depart, Raunak finds an opportunity to get closer to Sumeet.
Unbeknownst to Sumeet, Raunak harbors malicious intentions. He devises a plan to forcefully remove Sumeet's veil, disregarding her boundaries and consent. The tension mounts as Raunak inches closer to Sumeet, intent on fulfilling his sinister plan.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, Shlok appears, leaping into action with a swift kick that sends Raunak crashing to the ground. Filled with fury and protectiveness, Shlok starts landing powerful punches on Raunak for his audacity to lay a hand on Sumeet. The unexpected turn of events leaves Poonam and Shagun in a state of shock, unable to comprehend the unfolding scene.
Amidst the chaos, Shlok takes matters into his own hands and proceeds to lift Sumeet's veil, exposing her face himself. His decisive action not only puts an end to Raunak's disrespectful intentions but also showcases his unwavering support and defense of Sumeet. The revelation leaves everyone present in a mix of astonishment, relief, and admiration for Shlok's courageous act.
Poonam confides in Shagun about Sumeet's pregnancy, sharing a devious plan to manipulate the situation to their advantage. Poonam suggests that they use this information as ammunition to accuse Sumeet of wrongdoing, tarnishing her character in the process. Seizing the opportunity, Shagun eagerly agrees, recognizing the potential to escalate the matter and ensure that Sumeet is forced to leave Shlok's house with no support from anyone.
