Imlie interjects, stating that Chini is Kairi's actual mother, and if Arto wants to win her back, he must sever ties with Chini first. To do that, they need to locate her. Arto makes a call to Chini, who apologizes for running away, fearing arrest. She confesses that she cannot live without Arto or Kairi. Seizing the opportunity, Arto lies and tells Chini that he still loves her, suggesting that they should run away together to avoid the police. Delighted by this news, Chini discloses her current location to Arto.
After ending the call, Arto shares with Imlie that he only intends to do the right thing from now on. Imlie observes that Chini's Goa number is active, while her Delhi number is inactive, confirming their lead. Anu ponders that Chini resembles Malini in her willingness to sacrifice everything for love. Arto arrives at the designated location and calls out to Chini. Chini questions why he didn't come alone. Determined to bring her to justice, he decides to call the police to have her arrested. Feeling cornered, Chini forcefully pushes Arto away and sets the surrounding area on fire. In a sinister turn of events, she traps both Imlie and Arto amidst the flames. Chini proclaims that despite her efforts to change and be good, no one accepted her in that way. She declares that the old Chini has resurfaced, ready to devise new schemes. Chini points out that Arto's declaration of love for her was a ruse to expose her true intentions and have her arrested. She states that if he could lie to Imlie multiple times, he can lie to her as well. Chini adds that they will all die together since she refuses to make sacrifices alone.
Arto desperately pleads with Chini to stop her destructive actions, but his appeals fall on deaf ears. The members of Rana's family begin to panic as they witness the danger Imlie and Arto are facing. As the smoke fills the air, Imlie starts feeling suffocated. Drawing strength from her belief in Sita Maiya's power and recalling her own mother's fearlessness in the face of fire, she resolves to defeat Chini. Utilizing her intelligence, Imlie cleverly extinguishes the flames with the assistance of water, leaving Chini stunned. Arto rushes to Imlie's side, urging her to regain consciousness as she is about to faint. He reminds her that she cannot give up in such a crucial moment. Meanwhile, Chini makes another attempt to escape, but the police officers intervene, attempting to stop her. In a desperate move, Chini snatches a gun from one of the officers, prompting Imlie to draw her own weapon as well. The cops caution them against taking the law into their own hands, emphasizing the importance of maintaining order and following legal procedures.
