However, despite his efforts, Sumeet continues to tremble, prompting Shlok to assist her in drying up while she gazes at him. Realizing that she needs comfort, Shlok gently removes her accessories and offers her a comforting glass of warm milk. In an attempt to address the underlying issue, Shlok asks Sumeet if she is feeling any better. Frustrated and hurt, Sumeet lashes out at him, accusing him of breaking her heart by rejecting their marriage. Shlok, his voice tinged with anger, urges Sumeet to confront the truth instead of dwelling in denial. Their heated argument ensues as they both struggle to communicate their perspectives. Raj examines the CCTV footage and discovers that the motorcycle Sumeet used belongs to Shlok. Misinterpreting the situation, he jumps to the conclusion that Shlok intentionally eloped with Sumeet. Fueled by anger and a desire to protect her, Raj contemplates harming Shlok if he comes near Sumeet.
Meanwhile, Shlok confides in Sumeet, expressing his concern that Raj might jeopardize his family. In response, Sumeet questions whether Shlok is backing out of their marriage solely because of Raj's actions. Determined to resolve the misunderstanding, she offers to talk to Raj herself. Just as they begin discussing the matter, Sumeet suddenly spots a lizard and begins screaming, revealing that she has an allergy to it. In a state of panic, she climbs onto the bed. Sensing the urgency of the situation, Shlok encourages her to come down from the bed so they can talk calmly. Sumeet opens up to Shlok, expressing her astonishment at seeing him at the wedding altar. She shares her feelings of surprise and confusion, trying to make sense of the situation that has unfolded between them.
As Sumeet remains stubbornly perched on the bed, Shlok decides to join her, hoping to continue their discussion. However, their argument escalates, causing the bed to collapse, sending them both tumbling down together. The loud noise catches Poonam's attention, prompting her to rush to the room. Sensing trouble, Shlok quickly follows her, while Sumeet stays behind, disappointed. Poonam arrives in the room and questions Shlok about whether he has truly married Sumeet. Determined to extract the truth, she insists that he swear upon her and reveal the reality, threatening to go on a hunger strike if he fails to comply. Sumeet, still hopeful that Shlok will finally acknowledge their marriage, eagerly awaits his response. Regrettably, Shlok disappoints Sumeet once again by declaring that he hasn't married her. This revelation shatters Sumeet's heart, leaving her utterly devastated. On the other hand, Poonam is pleased with Shlok's response and urges him to inform the police in advance to prevent Raj from falsely accusing their family.
Raj stormed into Shlok's house accompanied by the police, his anger evident on his face. He demanded that the inspector arrest Shlok immediately, accusing him of deceiving Sumeet and causing her to run away. Poonam interjected, asserting that it was actually Sumeet who was causing trouble by pressuring Shlok into accepting their marriage. Poonam held Sumeet's hand tightly, further infuriating Raj. He forcefully pulled Poonam away and, consumed by anger, smashed a nearby vase. Sumeet, trying to defuse the situation, pleaded with Raj, explaining that Shlok was innocent and hadn't done anything wrong. However, Raj remained adamant, urging the police to take Shlok into custody. Sumeet, determined to protect Shlok, firmly declared that Shlok would not be taken anywhere as he was her husband.
Sumeet firmly asserted that her self-respect and Shlok's upbringing were at stake, making it necessary for her to provide evidence of their marriage. Shlok, realizing the gravity of the situation, urged Raj to take Sumeet back to her home. However, Sumeet firmly stated that, according to her beliefs, her in-laws' place was her rightful home after marriage. She prevented Raj from disrespecting Shlok's family, which left him feeling remorseful. Sumeet demanded that everyone grant her a fair chance of 21 days to prove that her marriage with Shlok had indeed taken place. Just then, Shagun arrived at the scene, accompanied by Raunak, and she supported Sumeet's request for the given time period.
