Meanwhile, Shlok peeks out from inside his house and feels a pang of hurt upon seeing her. Poonam, noticing Shlok's reaction, asks him to go and check if the rainwater has flooded their shop. Sumeet notices Shlok opening the door and memories of him rejecting their marriage come rushing back. As the song "Lag gya Ishq tera" starts playing, Shlok walks past Sumeet without saying a word. Inside the house, Poonam urges Shlok to come inside. Sumeet continues to tremble, being soaked in the rainwater, while Shlok, feeling conflicted, closes the door without acknowledging her presence. Poonam decides to inform Shagun about Sumeet's predicament, hoping that she will take her back home. Frustrated, she refers to Sumeet as a problem while making the call.
Raj enters Sumeet's room with food in his hands, but he is taken aback when he finds the room empty. Panicked, Raj begins searching the entire house, desperately calling out for Sumeet. He questions Sumeet's caretaker, who has no idea where she might be. Frustrated and worried, Raj confronts Masoom, expressing his belief that she has never truly accepted Sumeet as a part of their family. In response, Masoom coldly states that after marriage, a girl's home is with her in-laws. Raj, overcome with anger, declares that he will change the traditional customs and vows to never let Sumeet stay at Shagun's house. Meanwhile, Shlok continues to observe Sumeet as she stands in the rain, completely soaked. Sumeet, on the other hand, remains steadfast in her conviction that she is not lying and is certain that Shlok was with her at the wedding altar. Determined, she decides that she will not leave until Shlok accepts their marriage.
Shlok resolves within himself that he won't let his emotions sway for Sumeet this time. However, a group of unruly guys appear on the scene and begin to harass Sumeet. Unable to tolerate the situation, Shlok intervenes and confronts them, ready to fight if necessary. Meanwhile, Raj and Masoom arrive at Shagun's house and witness her performing the traditional Vani and Abhay's grahpravesh (home entry) ceremony. Masoom pleads with Raj not to take any immediate action. Shagun, aware of the situation, pretends to be innocent in order to protect Vani. Raj reprimands Shagun and demands to know where Sumeet is. Just then, Poonam calls and informs Shagun about Sumeet being at her own house. Despite knowing the truth, Shagun lies to Raj, claiming ignorance about Sumeet's whereabouts.
Raunak suggests accompanying Raj in the search for Sumeet, but Raj firmly refuses, dismissing the idea. Sumeet, desperate for Shlok to accept their marriage, embraces him tightly, urging him to reconsider. However, Shlok's mind flashes back to the hurtful words Sumeet spoke about marrying Raunak solely for his wealth and successful career. The memory leaves him conflicted and unsure about their relationship. Meanwhile, Raunak questions Shagun about why she made Shlok sit as the groom during the wedding ceremony. In response, Shagun redirects her anger towards Raunak, scolding him for his reckless behavior and actions. Raunak, consumed by his resentment towards Shlok, continues to express his deep hatred for him.
Vani overhears their heated conversation and makes her way towards Raunak's room. Unfortunately, in the midst of their intense argument, a fire breaks out in the room due to Raunak's reckless behavior. Shagun attempts to extinguish the flames, but Vani fails to hear their conversation about Shlok's presence at the wedding altar, as her attention is solely focused on the urgent situation at hand.
Shlok notices Sumeet's evident pain as she struggles to walk, her gait hindered by a chain that seems to have caused her injury. Overwhelmed with concern, he lifts her gently into his arms. The melodious tune of "Ore piya" resonates in the background as Shlok carries Sumeet and takes her inside his house. In the process, Sumeet's bleeding foot leaves imprints on the floor, marking her presence, and her dupatta becomes entangled with Shlok's shirt. Finding it difficult to walk, Sumeet relies on Shlok's unwavering support as he firmly holds her hand. They exchange glances, conveying a mix of emotions, and together, they enter his house, their journey marked by an unspoken connection.
