Playfully, Mihika's cousins engage in flirtatious banter with Ranbir at his request. Mihika, seizing the opportunity, requests that her cousins discontinue their teasing.
With Mihika's cousins successfully diverted, she instructs Ranbir to proceed with the wedding rituals. Just then, Prachi arrives at the scene and questions the need for gratitude.
Ranbir, holding Mihika close, pretends to express his gratitude for the eighth "phera" (wedding vow). In an attempt to divert attention from their conversation, someone calls out to Mihika, drawing her away.
Ranbir seizes the moment to halt Prachi's departure and admits that he no longer believes in these rituals.
He confesses that even in one lifetime, he did not experience true love, thereby losing faith in the significance of the rituals. With a heavy heart, he walks away, leaving Prachi overcome with emotions.

Manpreet attempts to soothe herself, but suddenly, a vivid flashback of Ranbir and Prachi's camaraderie floods her mind. She places her hand over her heart and fervently prays to God, desperately hoping that the suspicions harbored by Vishaka and herself about Ranbir will prove to be unfounded.
Meanwhile, Akshay trails behind Vishaka, following her into their bedroom, imploring her to calm down. Annoyed and exasperated, Vishaka raises her voice, asserting her right to contemplate her children's future and defend their well-being.
She justifies her strictness by claiming it as a means to safeguard their happiness. In a tender gesture, Akshay kneels in front of Vishaka, gently holding her hands, assuring her that under her loving guidance, all their children will have promising futures alongside their respective partners.
Vishaka glares at Akshay, her expression filled with contempt, as she vehemently declares that he lacks the right to provide assurances. She points out that he himself is entangled in a troubled relationship, causing Akshay to lower his gaze in remorse.
Sensing his vulnerability, Vishaka manipulates him, planting seeds of doubt against Prachi. Vishaka asserts that Prachi is an opportunistic woman driven by greed, exploiting Akshay for her own selfish desires.
She claims that once Prachi attains what she wants, she will inevitably discard him without a second thought. Consumed by Vishaka's words, Akshay becomes increasingly agitated.
Overwhelmed by his emotions, Akshay storms out of the room and forcefully grabs Prachi's hand, dragging her into their private quarters to confront her about the situation at hand.
