The episode commences with Ranbir announcing that the gentlemen will serve all the ladies present. He seeks the assistance of Akshay and Abhay in fulfilling this task. Divya compliments Ranbir, expressing her belief that his life is now settled. Ranbir proceeds to serve tea to all the ladies. However, when Visakha mentions that they are observing a fast, Ranbir immediately agrees not to serve them tea. Ranbir then requests Visakha to enlighten the guests about the significance of Teej and why it is celebrated. Visakha consents and proceeds to educate everyone about Teej. She explains that married women observe this festival to pray for the long life of their husbands, while unmarried women perform the rituals to find lifelong companions like Mihika, who is about to participate in the Pooja. Visakha specifically asks Mihika if she will be partaking in the Pooja. Overwhelmed with guilt, Mihika leaves the gathering.
Ranbir approaches Mihika, sensing her distress, and inquires if everything is alright. Mihika confides in Ranbir, confessing her guilt about deceiving her family and admits that she cannot continue with the pretense. Responding humorously, Ranbir asks Mihika if he should start packing his clothes immediately or if he can wait until tomorrow. Confused, Mihika questions his statement, prompting Ranbir to explain that if she feels guilty about the situation, he is willing to leave. Mihika firmly insists that Ranbir is not going anywhere, emphasizing that she simply doesn't want to participate in the ritual. Meanwhile, Akshay assists Prachi in opening a door, during which Prachi reveals her reluctance to partake in the ritual. Curious, Akshay asks Prachi for her reasons. Prachi reminds Akshay that their marriage is not genuine and therefore believes it would be inappropriate to perform the ritual. In response, Akshay reminds Prachi that they have already presented themselves as a married couple, even though they aren't legally married. Akshay suggests that just as they staged their marriage, they can also feign participating in the ritual without actually performing it.
Ranbir proposes to Mihika that they can simply pretend to perform the ritual without actually going through with it. Mihika commends Ranbir for his idea, appreciating his ingenuity. Meanwhile, Prachi and Manpreet are shown cooking in the kitchen, and Ranbir joins them, deciding to serve juice to everyone. Prachi proudly shows her Mehndi design to Mihika and Manpreet. Observing Prachi's Mehndi, Ranbir turns to Akshay and questions whether he truly loves Prachi or not. Ranbir remarks that Prachi's Mehndi isn't the traditional vibrant red color associated with deep affection. Ranbir then asks Akshay if Prachi suspects him in any way. Akshay assures Ranbir that Prachi never harbors any suspicions about him. Reflecting on this, Ranbir suggests that perhaps Prachi's love for him might not be as strong, as love often entails a certain level of suspicion. Prachi engages in a heated argument with Ranbir, pointing out the distinction between suspicion and accusation. Her comment leaves Ranbir silent, and Manpreet and Akshay intervene, urging them to end the disagreement.
Akshay reminisced about the recent events, his thoughts consumed by the memories. Sensing his contemplation, Prachi inquired about his musings. Curious, Akshay posed a question to Prachi, asking whether she truly respected him. Prachi reassured him, affirming her deep respect and acknowledging the countless ways he had supported her, expressing gratitude for his unparalleled kindness. In response, Akshay questioned why Prachi couldn't reciprocate his love. A heavy silence lingered as Prachi withheld her words. Undeterred, Akshay confessed his feelings, emphasizing his desire to win her heart and nothing more. Unbeknownst to them, Visakha overheard their conversation, silently absorbing the revelations. Eventually, Visakha quietly departed from the scene, leaving the two alone once again. Filled with regret, Prachi offered her sincere apologies to Akshay, explaining that she did not wish to burden him with perpetual distress caused by her inability to reciprocate his affection.
Manpreet informed Ranbir that Prachi was not present, cautioning him against engaging in another argument with her. Ranbir reassured her, expressing his disinterest in conflict. Intrigued, Ranbir inquired about Manpreet and Ashok's love story. Blushing, Manpreet revealed that Ashok had fallen for her first. Feeling bashful, she quickly excused herself and departed from their conversation. Mihika, curious about Ranbir's approach, asked him how he managed to accomplish something. Ranbir shrugged it off, describing it as a simple trick. However, Mihika urged him not to excel at it to the point where her family would find it challenging to reject him.
