The episode begins with Neelam expressing her appreciation for Lakshmi finally paying attention to her. She comments on Lakshmi and expresses her hope that Lakshmi will soon depart from the house. Neelam warns Lakshmi to carry out the marriage and leave the house permanently. Lakshmi remains silent, contemplating her decision. Sensing the tension, Karishma asks Lakshmi directly whether she intends to proceed with the marriage or not. Neelam interjects, stating that there is no need for Karishma to pose such a question. She firmly asserts that if Lakshmi refuses to comply with the marriage, she will be expelled from the house. Vikrant's heart sinks as he spots Dadi's presence, realizing she might have overheard everything he said. Rishi commends Dadi's impeccable timing and inquires if she caught Vikrant's confession.
Rishi points out that Vikrant openly admitted to everything right in front of Dadi. To Rishi's surprise, Dadi claims she didn't hear anything as she was merely passing by. Curious, Dadi questions Rishi about why he was grasping Vikrant's collar. A smirk spreads across Vikrant's face as he observes the situation. Rishi asks Dadi why she didn't hear anything, and Vikrant interjects, urging Rishi to cease his accusations. Vikrant informs Dadi that he came to check on Rishi and accuses Rishi of threatening to disrupt the upcoming marriage. Dadi reprimands Rishi for his behavior and apologizes to Vikrant on Rishi's behalf. Eventually, Vikrant departs from the scene. Rishi vents his frustration, feeling unable to expose Vikrant's true nature. Dadi consoles Rishi, assuring him that the truth will inevitably surface. Subsequently, Dadi takes her leave as well.
Vikrant approaches Malishka, expressing his gratitude for keeping the truth concealed from everyone. In response, Malishka asserts her ability to disclose the truth, citing the evidence she possesses. She reminds Vikrant and Saloni of the agreement they made, where they agreed to comply with her instructions. Both Vikrant and Saloni assure her that they will uphold their end of the deal. However, Malishka firmly states that they must not harm Rishi and insists that she will ensure the marriage between Vikrant and Lakshmi takes place. Vikrant agrees to abide by Malishka's words. Just as Vikrant and Saloni are about to depart, Malishka halts them and declares her intention to test their loyalty. She instructs Saloni to slap Vikrant.
Shalu and Bani approach Rano with a heartfelt request to put an end to the impending marriage. Engaging in a heated argument, Rano defends her stance for a brief period before acknowledging Shalu and Bani's plea. Rano questions whether they have spoken to Lakshmi about her thoughts on the marriage. Realizing that she can't intervene if Lakshmi genuinely desires to proceed with it, Rano reluctantly admits her limitations. Shalu asserts that Rano should simply state directly that she will not halt the marriage. Rano firmly responds, affirming that she indeed has no intention of stopping the marriage. Mukesh excitedly tells Lakshmi that he has taken care of arranging all the necessary things for the Mehendi ceremony. Lakshmi, filled with anticipation, starts preparing the mehendi paste. Just as she begins, her grandmother, Dadi, arrives and questions why Lakshmi is doing it herself.
Dadi lovingly insists that Lakshmi step aside and takes charge, singing a traditional song as she skillfully applies the mehendi design. As Lakshmi watches Dadi's hands move gracefully, memories of her moments with her parents come flooding back to her. Saloni expresses her disbelief to Malishka, questioning how she could slap her own husband. In response, Saloni asks if she should slap Rishi as well. Malishka sternly explains that the act of slapping is meant as a punishment for them for attempting to harm Rishi, and she insists that they follow her instructions if they want her to believe their innocence. She warns them that if they fail to comply, she will expose their actions to everyone present. Vikrant objects, stating that Malishka cannot blackmail them in such a manner. Undeterred, Malishka calls Rishi, informing them that they have until he answers the call. Despite his initial resistance, Vikrant eventually agrees to accept the punishment.
Malishka ends the call and instructs Saloni to slap Vikrant. Sensing the gravity of the situation, Vikrant encourages Saloni to go ahead and slap him. Saloni reluctantly slaps Vikrant, following Malishka's demand. Satisfied with the outcome, Malishka coldly dismisses them, telling them to leave. Saloni makes an effort to initiate a conversation with Vikrant, but he firmly tells her not to talk to him and declares that he will no longer leave Rishi's side. Concerned, Saloni implores Vikrant to calm down and urges him not to jeopardize their agreement. Despite her plea, Vikrant abruptly walks away, distancing himself from Saloni. Feeling helpless, Saloni turns to prayer, hoping that fate will prevent Rishi from crossing paths with Vikrant.
Dadi observes Lakshmi's unease despite having prepared the mehendi, unable to comprehend the reason behind her incomplete happiness. Ayush enters the scene and suggests that Lakshmi might find true happiness if she had applied the mehendi in Rishi's name instead. Dadi acknowledges her desire for Lakshmi's happiness. Just then, Rishi unexpectedly appears in front of Vikrant. Saloni quickly intervenes, standing between them. She inquires about Rishi's well-being and swiftly guides Vikrant away from the situation. Rishi enters the kitchen and discovers Lakshmi engrossed in preparing the mehendi. In frustration, he declares his intention to discard it.
